We conduct a thorough, impartial due diligence and assessment of your start-up on where you currently stand and what you need to improve on to achieve the relevant milestones to get ready for your next round of fund-raising.

The outcome of this support typically includes: (a) a clear, practical due diligence and diagnostic report, (b) a review of your strategy, business plan, current valuation and gaps therein and (c) a customized roadmap (developed jointly with you as the Founder) on what are the key 5-6 high priority things to get done before you can go to your successful next funding round. 

Our endeavour in this support is to hold an honest and empathetic mirror to you as the Founder (the way a strong Co-Founder would do!) to understand where you are and what it would take to get to your next business and fund raising milestones.

STRATEGIC AND OPERATIONAL SUPPORT

At CoFoundree, we realize that as a Founder, you are juggling with multiple balls in the air - get the MVP ready, ensure the PoC works, get your first set of customers going, hire the right people (hopefully for sweat rather than cash!), do your finances and accounting, look at office space, deal with multiple 'high-ego' angels and VCs trying to convince them of your story etc. etc. It is tough and can be lonely. This is where we come in - with hands-on support. 

We work side by side with you as a Co-Founder, mentoring and coaching you through this crucial stage of your company to help you succeed. Typically, we start with the diagnostic and finalize a concrete roadmap. Then we agree on areas that we will support you and work with you to make things happen - till your next big milestone - usually the next round of fund-raising (e.g Series A) and/ or a certain business milestone (e.g. $1Mn revenues).  

FUND-RAISING SUPPORT

We help start-ups who already have an existing business, with an MVP and viable PoC, raise funding. This includes additional seed funding, a bridge round, and/ or Series A funding. 

We typically do this via syndication with our network of angel investors/ VCs. We also co-invest in the start-up in this process. 

Typically, here, we help fund-raise for start-ups with whom we are also involved in strategic and operational support (pre or post the fund-raising). We find this to be a win-win proposition.


For start-ups, this enhances their chances of success by taking advantage of our hands-on support.

For us, this ensures that we have carefully done our due diligence of the start-ups we bring to our network of investors. Our involvement also incentivizes and enhances our commitment to ensure your success.
